Polyethylene storage tanks: Polyethylene storage tanks are suitable for applications where chemical resistance and toughness are required but temperature and pressure requirements are not as high, such as domestic, agricultural and commercial uses. Due to the properties of polyethylene, these tanks are commonly used for storing water, food, pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals etc.
4. Cost
FRP Tanks: FRP Tanks are more expensive to manufacture, but are cost effective with a long service life in high strength and high temperature environments.
Polyethylene Tanks: Polyethylene tanks are relatively inexpensive to manufacture and are suitable for users with limited budgets and relatively benign environments.
5. Maintenance
FRP Tanks: Tanks made of FRP require regular inspection and maintenance, especially in harsh chemical environments.
Polyethylene tanks: Maintenance of polyethylene tanks is simpler, requiring attention to surface cleaning and prevention of mechanical damage.
